What if my dentist uses a scanner not on your list?

If it exports STL, we support it. DentNode accepts any STL, PLY, or 3OXZ upload.

Do I need anything installed on the scanner?

No. Integration is at the cloud level. Your dentist just adds your lab inside their scanner’s lab directory.

How fast do scans arrive?

Typically within 60 seconds of the dentist clicking “Send to Lab.”

Are intraoral photos / X-rays supported?

Yes — JPG, PNG, DICOM, and PDF attachments are all pulled in alongside the scan.

Can I assign incoming scans to workflows automatically?

Yes. Set rules like “crown scans from Dr. A go to the Premium workflow.” See /features/workflows.
